Roles and Responsibilities
Senior leadership at KVLC Technologies Ltd is responsible for providing direction, resources and oversight to implement this policy effectively. Managers are expected to integrate HSE considerations into planning, decision-making and day-to-day supervision. All employees and contractors are required to work in accordance with applicable procedures, take reasonable care of themselves and others, report hazards or incidents promptly, and contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
How We Put This Policy into Practice
- Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments and review them when activities, equipment or workplaces change.
- Implement control measures, safe working procedures and, where required, personal protective equipment.
- Provide induction and role-specific training, with refresher training as needed.
- Maintain arrangements for reporting and investigating accidents, incidents, unsafe conditions and near misses.
- Develop and communicate emergency procedures appropriate to our activities and premises.
- Consider environmental aspects in operational planning, including waste handling, pollution prevention and efficient resource use.
- Monitor compliance and performance through inspections, reviews and corrective actions.
Review and Communication
This policy will be communicated to employees and made available to relevant interested parties. It will be reviewed periodically, and at least annually, or sooner if there are significant changes to our operations, legal requirements or identified risks.
